I'm Lucy,

 

a photographer who loves 'painting with her camera'.

My style is impressionistic.

I seek to capture the essence and energy of my subject by using camera movement,

double exposure and intentional blur.

​​

For me, photography is all about expressing emotion. I love getting lost in the moment,

being free to play, explore and create.

​

My passion for photography began as a teenager, working in a photographic studio.

There I learnt the art of black-and-white darkroom printing.

Watching the images slowly appear felt like magic and I have been hooked ever since!

​

My camera has been my constant companion; through life's adventures of backpacking around the world, to the every day chaos of work and raising a family!

 

Moving to Devon in 2017 has opened up new landscape, coastline and moorland to walk and explore. Giving me endless inspiration for 'camera painting'...
